Green Team, Tuesday 14th June
The monthly midweek Green Team are out next Tuesday on Leverhulme Park, meeting 10am at the Crown Green Bowling Green Huts, Off Gorses Road. If coming for the full day please wear sturdy footwear and a packed lunch. One of the tasks for the day will be balsam bashing otherwise known as Himalayan Balsam removal, which we will be removing from areas of high wildlife interest. Come along and find out more!
Your Park: Brew and Chat, Thursday 16th June
Come along for a brew and chat to discuss Your Park! (Area includes Leverhulme Park, Bradford Park and Tonge Cemetery). We want to know your thoughts on the areas and how the ‘Gateway to Urban Nature Project’ is aiming to provide more opportunities for the community to access the wilder areas of the park. Informal meeting and everyone is welcome!

Each day the sessions run from 11am till 2.30pm, if you complete four days you will be awarded an accreditation. Please bring your own lunch and suitable outdoor clothing. The sessions are for 11-18 year olds.
